One day at Cetak Kilat Print & Copy, on its own screens.
- The counter opens on Take in a job
The POS opens on Take in a job, the biggest button on the screen: a brochure run, a banner or a frame becomes a ticket with its promise date. New sale under it rings the photocopies and the ready-made frames.
What got writtenTill open · float RM 200.00 · first in clocked 08:52 - The first sale
Receipt 1 is rung. Its SST is on the line, and anything it took off the shelf is already off the stock count.
What got writtenReceipt 1 · SST on the line · stock count updated - Every job, from artwork to ready
In the shop counts what is in hand, what is late and what is ready, with a tab for each stage: Artwork in, Proof sent, Printing. A 200-piece brochure two days past its promise rises to the top in red, with Move on beside it; a frame that is ready shows Collect with its balance, and the customer is a WhatsApp tap away.

- The customer's own items are in custody until collection
- Ready, collected and paid are three separate moments
- Closing
The day end adds the day up: gross and net, every tender and every category, and on their own lines what was collected today on jobs taken in on earlier days and what today's jobs have not yet paid until they are collected, so the day's work and the day's cash both add up. Close the day and its takings post to the books as one journal.
What got writtenDay closed · collected on earlier sales · not yet paid · one journal posted - Lights off
Payroll has the day's hours already. The owner opens the month's profit and loss on their phone with today's sales already in it; nobody stayed back to add it up.
What got writtenAttendance · 8h 12m counted for payroll · this month's P&L updated

Invoicing and e-Invoice, payroll on the same clock-ins, claims and leave, the books — all on the records the till writes.
